A presidential hopeful of the apex Ethnic Group in the Niger Delta, the Ijaw National Congress, INC, High Chief, Hon. Barr. Mac Ebi Igbadiwei has called on the people of the Eastern Zone of the INC to give him a nod to lead the INC in the forth coming election of the Socio-Political and Economic emancipation group.
Speak to Delegates of the forthcoming election, NRC members, Traditional Rulers and other members of the region, High Chief Igbadiwei stated that the original path for which the INC was formed must be upheld for the total reformation and upwards development of the Region. Igbadiwei a former member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, a lawyer by profession, former legal adviser of the Central Region, Clan Chairman, and held various positions in the INC stated that he has only a single agenda of “IJAW FIRST” which informed his opinion of contesting for the regional revered position.

We are the people that lays the golden egg, and yet the people most degraded, dampened in underdevelopment and total neglect on human and infrastructural developments. In an era as we are, Nigeria Delta communities still surfer basic amenities like pipe born water, electricity and roads which are the most infinitesimal of amenities any society cannot surfer in this era of civilisation. Adding that the INC unser his watch it elected will engage the authorities strategically to ensure the much needed developmental strides are achieved in the region.
Igbadiwei praised the out going leadership for their foresight, visionary and tenacious manner at which the region was matched, stressing that he will build on their legacies and push for greater values in both human capital and infrastructural developments that will ensure the Ijaw Nation stands out in the comity of Ethnic Regions.
The Chairman of the Eastern Zone of INC, Mr. Abel Peterside received the team and advised the aspirant to ensure peaceful and most enduring campaigns that will lead to a friendly election to enthron effective leadership in the INC to make the region enviable.
