ON OUR GRASSROOTS VISIT TO GOKANA LGA

Today, 16th August 2026, I joined the leadership of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, on a grassroots engagement visit to Gokana Local Government Area.
The delegation was led by our State Chairman, Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa, and I was honoured to be there alongside my running mate, Hon. David Okumgba, and other key party leaders.
In Gokana, we met with Local Government, Ward and Unit executives, as well as our committed party supporters. The purpose was clear: to strengthen our grassroots structures and to review our level of preparation ahead of the 2027 elections.
I want to sincerely appreciate the executives and supporters of Gokana LGA for your warm reception and for the massive turnout. Your energy and commitment are proof that the ADC is alive in the grassroots.
I thank Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa for his leadership and for reminding us that the strength of the ADC lies in our members and supporters at the local level. I also align with his call for us to remain united, committed and confident.
To all our members in Gokana, I urge you: Let us remain focused, peaceful, and committed as we continue this mobilisation across the 23 LGAs of Rivers State. 2027 is about our future. It is about rescuing our state and building the Rivers we deserve a Rivers of jobs, security, education, and opportunities for all.
The visit ended with all of us reaffirming our commitment to strengthen the ADC and work together towards victory in 2027.
