Dear Good People of Okrika Nation.
It is with a heart of commitment to our collective well-being I bring you this message of hope, purpose and firm believe in our unity, peace and cordiality. As a people of strength, wisdom and respect for good neighbourliness, we have lived a life well respected and honoured by those who have close relationships. Let’s continue in that might.
What happened last night between us and our dear neighbours is regrettable and sincerely avoidable, whatever that may have caused us this unholy situation, be rest assured that the authorities are on top of it. Let’s all us come to a round table of think tank rather than confrontation in whatever manner.
Thankful to God Almighty for the imminent peace, while calling on us to go about our lawful duties without fear of molestation. We believe in the ability of the government in taking precautionary measures in curbing future occurrence and safeguarding lives and properties of citizenry in our communities. Eleme and Okrika are the closest neighbours from the time of our ancestors, no temptation is capable of causing any bloodshed in this era.
Be rest assured that our territorial defence, protection and safety is none negotiable as every hand must be on deck to unsure peace, safety and tranquility in our domain. Let’s remain united with peace of mind and steadfast love for all.
