NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED ELECTION TO NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (NEC)
1. DATE OF RESCHEDULED ELECTION
The National Electoral Committee (ELECO) of Ijaw National Congress (INC) hereby formally notifies the entire Congress and the Ijaw Nation that the suspended 2026 Ijaw National Congress National Executive Committee (INC-NEC) Election will now hold as follows:
DATE: MONDAY, APRIL 13, 2026
VENUE: IJAW HOUSE,
YENAGOA, BAYELSA STATE.
2. SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:
DAY 1: Sunday, April 12, 2026 – Arrival of Delegates.
DAY 2: Monday, April 13, 2026:
– 7:00am – 10:00am – Accreditation of Delegates at Ijaw House
– 10:00am – 2:00pm – Election at Ijaw House
– 2:30pm – 3:30pm – Announcement of Election Results and Issuance of Certificates of Return
– 4:00pm – End of Elective Convention
– Departure of Delegates & Stakeholders.
All Cleared Candidates, Delegates and Stakeholders are by this notice advised to take note of the new date for the Election and Schedule of Activities.
