Dear fellow Youths of Okrika. I bring us greetings. As we join millions of fellow Youths all over the Globe celebrate this year’s episode with the theme: Different Contexts, Common Aspirations, let’s reflect on the theme and corroborate with our Aspirations to build a society worthy of our true Aspirations.
This years theme as well thought out by World Youths leaders is in tandem with the period we finds ourselves in our dear country Nigeria. As we step into the political arena, let the theme resonate in our beings and purposes. Let’s not be the tools of disunity, thuggery, ballot snatching, as a bate to fight enemies and cause discomfort to ourselves. Let’s know and note, we have Different Contexts, but Common Aspirations to build a society we desires.
We must thrive to see our first utility, which is Building the Youths, Building the Nation with a view to being the leaders of future. As time slides by, and we get to our predestined positions of leadership, we should prioritise our unity, growth, well-being and show our prowess to be leadership worthy, employable, and not lacking in ideas.
It is my deepest desire that we come together as Youths and progress in Common Aspirations with our Different Contexts to deepen our developmental strides.
Congratulations, Fellow Youths as we Celebrate International Youths Day Different as the theme implies.
