GovernorofBayelsa State, HE. Douye Diri has officially nominated Hon. Peter Akpe as the next Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

Hon. Akpe, who serves as Chief of Staff to the Governor, has already been screened by the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, marking a significant step in the process.

Hail from Ebedebiri Federated Community in Sagbama Local Government Area, Mr. Akpe’s nomination reflects a strategic move within the state’s leadership structure. His experience in governance and close working relationship with the Governor positions him as a key figure in advancing the administration’s vision for Bayelsa State. Ijawblog1
