The People’s Choice Vice Chancellor of RSU Receives the Youth Anti-Corruption Society in Audience
Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi Commends the Youth Anti-Corruption Society.
It was a profound honour to pay a special courtesy visit to the Digital Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, and to formally extend an invitation to him to serve as the Father of the Day at the forthcoming event.
During the visit, Prof. Isaac Zeb-obipi
graciously received our delegation and shared invaluable words of encouragement. He commended the impactful efforts of the Youth Anti-Corruption Society and other youth-focused groups, recognizing our consistent drive toward transparency, accountability, youth and student empowerment, among other noble causes.
In his remarks, Abibo Samson commended the Vice Chancellor for transforming the University into a globally recognized institution. He applauded his visionary leadership in turning the citadel of learning into a fully digitalized campus, highlighting key milestones such as the introduction of electronic display boards across the campus to enhance communication and information dissemination, among several other innovations. He further noted the remarkable infrastructural development, improved staff welfare, and numerous ongoing innovative and strategic programs that continue to reposition the University for excellence and global competitiveness.
Speaking further, Comr. Justice and Chiemezie Kingdom Chimezie, PhD (in view), highlighted the immense benefits of the proposed program to students and youth groups. They emphasized that the initiative is inclusive and encompasses all institutions and youth bodies, creating opportunities for collaboration, empowerment, capacity building, and sustainable development among young people.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of purposeful, people-centred leadership, reminding all present that true public service is rooted in integrity, compassion, and measurable impact. His counsel reinforces our commitment to strengthening reforms and implementing welfare-driven programs that directly benefit youths and students within and beyond the state.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Digital Vice Chancellor for his warm reception, prayers, mentorship, open-door policy, and unwavering support. His recognition of our work further strengthens our resolve to remain steadfast in the face of challenges and to continue building sustainable structures, programs, and projects for youth development.
The visit concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Comr. Roland Wilson , who applauded the Vice Chancellor for his visionary leadership, hospitality, and continuous dedication to academic excellence and youth development.
