Governor Fubara visited the site of the collapsed building on Peter Odili Road, said It was indeed an unfortunate incident that could have been avoided. The Governor said rescue operations are ongoing, ans that he has ordered the immediate closure of the site pending proper investigations by the authorities. Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has submitted the 2026/2028 Medium Term Expenditure Framework to the Rivers State House of Assembly for consideration and approval.
